It's been kind of long since i last updated.
Oh wells, had group meeting on friday! But there was only the four of us. (Calvin, Atikah, Sunkist and Me) Calvin had to leave earlier cos he had dental! So poor thing! Have dental appointment on his birthday! Actually i quite like my group. V different groups of people from all the different clique. (: Friday's meeting was super useful. Me, Atikah and sunkist thought of lots and lots of things. Perhaps one or two more meetings and we can make a survey already! (: We haven't sorted out the roles in our members yet though. Sunkist wanna make me the group leader! No way. Hahahahahah. (:

Anyway, exco interview on friday was quite okaay except for one o two questions. But glad to say, i survived it. I can take it. Though i'm quite sure i won't get pass already.

Okaay, i shall stop here for now. Going town with jiejun, oi fong and jan later! So excited!





I've finally submitted my PI although it was kind of poorly done. Had a rough weekend over the past few days. Been having lots of silly thoughts and feeling very down. Yet, i had to put on a smile when i face the whole world. Anyway, eveything's back to normal. I've sorted out my thoughts and realised that running away doesn't help. Only facing up to the problem will allow me to move on in life. So, i shall have more self confidence and strive on. My mom told me, when i'm stressed up and am feeling down, i'll just have to pray to God to seek his help and assistance and i guess she's right. Somehow, it reminds me of a bible phrase i've always thought of when i'm feeling unhappy. It goes, 'I lift up my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.' I admit i'm not a vey christian kind of person. But i've always remembered this bible phrase when i meet difficulties.

Alright enough of the self reflection, shall talk about school today. (: I ate lots and lots of stuffs. But i don't think i should care anymore. Shall eat when i feel like eating. No one's to stop me. (: 2 periods of econs lecture and another 2 periods of econs tutorials almost killed me. Somehow, i feel i'm beginning to grasp econs and i'm able to understand most of what mr chua is teaching. However, I would say otherwise for math. Feel like i'm drifting further and further from mr ho's wavelength. He should have a longer wavelength, slower speed. Hahahah. Okaay, is longer wavelength = slower speed? I can't recall. I'm like totally rusty for physics. (:

Waiching was super high this morning. Then keep lots of funny things. Very funny. And the class guys attacked lee see kee for no apparent reason. lol. Kind of funny. We broke up into our pw groups during pw period and played some dumb game which took us very very long when it could be solved within 5 minutes perhaps. So dumb!

GP was kind of fei. I practically didn't learn anything at all. I only know they were talking about english and something about US and UK. Then the rest i totally switched off. (:

Hello!
Actually i typed on long entry yesterday and the whole thing was gone cos my comp d/c-ed! Was kind of fed up with my comp so didn't post again yesterday. This week's been quite an eventful week. Well, not really that eventful actually. But well, i would say quite.

(Thursday)
Mock spa was totally horrible. Each of my titration differed by 2.00cm cube! (Look, it's 3 sig fig) Was so worrying. And so, i did my first titration. Then i noted the volume required for complete reaction. Then, when it was approaching the endpoint, i called ms lee for her to check my endpoint. In the end she got so pissed waiting she walked away and my titration ended like some 2.00 cm cube away! :(:(:( So lousy. But anw, since it's mock. I shall not be bothered by it.

Received back our bio enzymes test. I scored a lousy mark of 12.5! Was kind of sad cos i did study for the test (and watched miss singapore)! oh wow. But i studied enough for me to pass at least. So i was kind of disappointed. Guess i'll just top the class form the bottom. :(

Sports day was normal. Hahahahh. Was sort of reminded of the way waiching imitates the guy in Please teach me English. It goes, Noooooooooooooooooorrmaaaaal. And some brazil thing that goes Brrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazil. Like whatever! Hahahahah. Kind of funny the way waiching says it and laugh at it herself!

Aquila was champion house! So cool lah. As cool as the house name. Ursa's not that bad too lah. Hahahahah. Highlights of sports day was mainly the cheer/dance competition! You get to see girls get toss up real HIGH. Hahahahah. Aquila topped cheer/dance competition with Ursa second! (:

After sports day went to meet up with shearn and luke to go for tj's mardi gras. (: Mardi gras was quite boring actually. Think it's somehow for the tj people actually. So found it quite boring. (: Most of the time was spent waiting for Amanda. Saw many 4H people like leonard, jojo, jiesheng, eleanor, cheryl, keli, fats and bobs. (: Kind of long since i last saw them. How i wish there's a class outing soon.

Handed in my exco form. Finally have the courage to run for treasurer though i feel i most prob won't be able to make it eventually. Well, it's still a good experience. Hmm, i'm one step closer to being a treasurer?

(Friday)
Good friday and also monthsary! Stayed at home the whole day. But i didn't do any studying. How good is that. :(

(Today)
Band practice today was quite normal too. Played through some pieces and went for sectionals. i wanna play Utopia. Sounds nice. (: Anyway, we somehow managed to sort of played through the tough tough part in disney fantasy. But guess i need more more more practice. (: Was a little pissed with ______ cos he was freaking ungentlemanly! I don't like ungentlemen guys who make girls do stuffs. No. 1, they're lazy! No. 2, how can they treat girls like that. Oh wells. Went out with shearn to tampines after band. Bought my white heart shape earrings! I wanna buy the tiny tiny green coloured ones! Someone buy for me! It's nice. Saw suky on my way back to the interchange! Missed her quite abit! (:

Hm, i on a mission to reduce the no. of :( and (: i have in my entries. If i'm not wrong, my (:s can go up to about 50 per entry. So nonsense. It's becoming a habit! Okaaay, shall stop here!





Hello!
It's been kind of stressful nowdays, with all the mock spas and lecture tests coming along. And since the hawaii trip, there's much more to be done and revised. I realised that i've tons and tons of tutorials which i haven't completed. Take for example, the transformation of graphs tutorial. He finished going through it and i haven't touched it at all. Though i made a copy of it but i didn't have the time to read through. It's all because i was too tired. I remembered i slept on the sofa yesterday. at 630! Mind you! It's only 6 plus. Was kind of pissed with the lack in self control! And i slept through the night!

Many interesting things since school started for me on Monday. (:
Had house meeting on Monday. Halfway through the house meeting some birdshit landed on the shirt of one guy in our senior class. Was damn funny. I was the witness of the 'accident'. Hahahah. couldn't help but laughed. (:

Yesterday the group of us went to the library to mug! Then the library door was supposed to be pulled. And Chinghui pushed at the door for quite sometime before knowing it was supposed to be pulled! Kind of funny. Then i was standing at the side giving a funny face. (: Saw Andrew at the library too. (:

Nothing much for today. There's only this Chem lecture where this person sneezed in a cute and funny way. Then Kathryn kept um-chioing and then she keep saying it's bird flu. Funny lehs.

Finally drank a cup of iced blended mocha after soooooo long. I missed it! Waiching tried it for the first time today. Said it was nice too! (: hmmm, it sort of burned a hole in my pocket especially since i've been spending alot on food these few days.

I realised it's the mugging week this week! Everyone seems to be studying very hard. Even my class. & i haven't even caught up with the work i missed out during the hawaii trip. I guess i'm dead. I'm still at the FOOT of Mt. Tutorial. :(

I saw planes flying past the skies outside my house today and i thought of hawaii!
Went east coast on Monday for pe. and i looked at the sea. I thought of hawaii!
I really still miss Hawaii alot alot. My mind's still somewhere in hawaii. :( Saw an ABC stall in Bedok interchange today and i thought of the ABC stores in Hawaii. ABC stores are everywhere in Hawaii. Like every 40 steps away! It's like their 7-eleven. I wanna go back there! Right there!

I MISS HAWAII!

It was such a fulfilled and fruitful trip. made new friends in oi fong, jiejun and janice.

(Day 1)
Spent at Korea to while away transiit time (St. Pats waited at the airport!). Reached there at about 6 in the morning. Korea time. Had a city tour! was kind of fun. Upon arrival, we headed to some nearby udon place and had udon. Very nice! (: & I still remember my seat had a nice view of the fields and houses outside the udon eating house. They've nice chopsticks with great engravings. Then after that we went to tour korea. Went to the government house. If i never remember wrongly it should be called blue house. (:

Later that morning we did some sightseeing somewhere else.
Went to this place where there was this stone. Then when you touch the stone with your girlfriend/boyfriend, you'll have a son with her/him! so funny. They made terence and jaslyn touch it. Hahahaha.

We also visited the museum. Took some nice pictures. & we saw the lives of olden korea at the museum. Then got those da chang jin stuffs. Hahahaha. (: Then after that we visited the palace area if i'm not wrong. Took photos then moved one. Then we went to see the traditional villages in Korea. Saw a da tou wawa over there. Hahahaha. Nothing much.

Then we ate lunch at someplace like a restaurant. Had ginseng chicken! eeeeew. Didn't like that cos it was ginseng! But it was rather special. Cos they use a small chicken. Then inside the chicken they stuffed rice cooked with ginseng. It's the rice that's yucks. (: Hahahaha. Then the surrounding was soup and noodles. Rice & noodles! What a great pair! But the whole thing looks unique. Hahaha.

We then went to their shops. Looks somewhat like our pasar malam. But not exactly though. (: Sell lots of stuffs there. Bought two shirts & many many voodoo dolls! The voodoo dolls were cute! But actually to think of it, they were kind of expensive. (:

Then we went to their shopping centre. DOOTA shopping centre. Sounds like dota right. Shaun was like dota dota. Hahahaha. (: The things they sell were very expensive lah. zzz. Couldn't get anything at all. So shaun me & jj decided to cross the road to the opposite to get the cheaper stuffs. We had to cross this long road! Was damn freaky! But shaun and jj dragged me along! The road was as busy as some expressway lah! Just that they have traffic light! so freaking!

Our last stop was the 2002 World Cup stadium in Seoul. It was freaking cold there ah. But the stadium was huuuuugee! Then we saw the warm-up room and stuffs for the players.

Then after that we headed to hawaii already.

(Day 2)
Arrived at hawaii in the morning. Their airport was kind of lousy. Have to take shuttle bus to the checking out area. So weird. Saw st pats at the airport. Then we went off first. Had our lunch at some chinese restaurant. Looks kind of high class. (: But same chinese food as s'pore.

Then we went to do some sightseeing! Took a coach up the mountains and stuffs. Saw very nice sceneries! & a bird's eye view of the sea! Pictures and stuffs. (: Whole afternoon was spent on sightseeing. (:

Reached hotel around evening time! Like 2 days didn't take a bath! So we took a bath. Then went out for dinner. Had dinner at Jack In The Box. It's something like long john silver's in singapore. Just more expensive and a little nicer. (: After dinnner then we explored abit of the area around the hotel. Lights out after that.

(Day 3)
Breakfast at Perry's Smorgy's. Buffet style. Food was not bad. (:
Went for rehearsal at the Marlin room after breakfast. (: Had to lug the instruments all the way to Pacific Beach where Marlin room was. Some distance away.

Then we had our own free time. Alvin wanted to go to the hard rock cafe in Hawaii So we had a section outing. Got a map from the reception counter. Had jack in the box for lunch again! Then we took a bus down to hard rock, using the map. Hahahah. The bus fare was so expensive! For 17 and below's 1 US dollar per ride. and 18 and above was 2 bucks. Which means, it's $1.60 and $3.20 respectively! so expensive. Bus had interesting pull cords! And the bus door was to be pushed to alight. then XQ pushed. then i was about to alight and the door almost slammed right into my face!

Followed the map closely and reached hard rock. & i mean followed the map closely. Hahahaha. was so noob! (: Alvin and XQ both bought shirts from hard rock. Then we headed back to the hotel to set off for Ala Moana Shopping Centre performance. (:

The perf was quite ok. St. Pats came to support us. Hahahahahah. Though quite unwillingly i would say. =x Hms, after that we had some time to ourselves to explore and walk around Ala Moana. Stuffs there were expensive. But the last level had much cheaper stuffs. (: Didn't manage to get any stuffs due to the time constraints.

Pacific Basin Music Festival welcome dinner at night. everyone dressed up nicely except me!!! Interacted a little with the band people from other countries and of course st pats.

Back at hotel! Gossips with janice and oi fong till 230! so tiring! Jiejun was asleep.

(Day 4)
Pearl Habour & the USS Arizona Memorial! Very nice! Took a boat down to USS Arizona Memorial and saw the sunken USS Arizona there. Then bought some mini playing cards at the souvenier shop. (: Tooks lots of photos of Pearl Harbour.

Afternoon, workshop with Glenn Price. It was quite a short workshop. About 1 hour. Was staring at the floor when i thought i sort of fell asleep with my eyes wide open cos i almost dropped my instrument. Hahahahaha! Too much gossiping the night before!

Sometime around evening. Went to Ala Moana to support st pats in their performance! They were great lah! Their horn section's super pro. Shaun dropped his jaw a few times. (: Then we did some shopping at Ala Moana. Bought a ripcurl bag. Shaun bought one too. Then shopped around the last level. Hahaha.

(Day 5)
Sound check at Pacific Beach Hotel Grand Ballroom. Adjudicated performance began. Our florentiner march wasn't as good as rehearsal. But heart and voice was very nice. (: Bahn Frei was not bad too! (: Heard some other bands play.

Had our own free time. Went shopping and stuffs. & later returned to watch the evening adjudication. The Fukuoka jap band & St Pats played! Jap band was fantastic lah! And st pats played very well too. Somewhat expected. (:

(Day 6)
Exchange with Killara High School Concert Band of Australia. Sight read each others pieces. Had to play the trombone part cos i didn't know how to read treble clef! Dumb! And we all realised that the euphonium player really abuse his euphonium. And he has all of XQ weird traits. Except, he's far worse!! he steps on his eupho lah! Nutto. Hahahahahah. (: Thereafter we went to Waikiki Beach. Took a bit of photos.

Went back to the hotel. Then we met Alvin to do some shopping. Went to the beach again before that. Stood on the rocks and took photos when the waves came in. was very nice.

Then i went to play with the water. My slipper almost got washed in! Thank god i caught it in time. (:

Massive shopping! Bought lots of stuffs at the international market. Alvin bought stuffs at quiksilver. Nice jacket! (:

Went to watch the Command Performance at the Hawaii Theatre! Hawaii Theatre was freaking grand and nice! Then the concert concludes with the royal hawaian band performing. (:

Went back hotel and packed up for departure the next morning.

(Day 7)
Last breakfast at Perry's Smorgy's! :(:(:(:(
Left for airport at around 9.
9 hours flight to Korea cos of the head wind.
Sit until my butt ached. (:
Then changed plane back to S'pore.

Okkkkkaaaay, that was long!
I miss Hawaii already! Their beaches and everything! The nights in the hotel!
Everything!
I woke up this morning feeling weird. No nice white beds! No noisy toilet bowls!
I miss hawaii!
I promise il go there for my honeymoon! Same hotel again!
